Dokładnie 22 marca na świat przyszła ta zwariowana istotka 😍
Welma jest rasy Field spaniel, która w Polsce występuje rzadko, dlatego pojechaliśmy po Nią aż do Francji. Należy ona do grupy psów aportujących, płochaczy i psów wodnych.
Jest bardzo inteligentna, towarzyska i energiczna. 😉
Mamy już za sobą kawał ciężkiej pracy i zaliczone kilka wystaw. To dzięki Welmie przełamałam swoje blokady i dzisiaj jestem z Nią w tym miejscu 💪🏼

My beautiful boy, or as we like to sing in this house, “the bestest boy in the world” (it’s a whole thing- he needs to be sung to and given belly rubs and nose boops when he wakes up… okay, the singing is optional but the love isn’t, he flops down and stares at you until you deliver the pets)

Sunday saw us attending the Dogs Victoria `Dogs Big Day Out` to assist with the running of the SprintDog™. We were thrilled to have a couple other fields come give it a try (Cassie)&(Moose). Then we let ours have a run too, can`t make them come all the way down and not have a turn (Nimue)&(Mary). このたび、フィールドスパニエル専門の犬舎「フィリーズボンド」を立ち上げることとなりました、小島と申します。
フィールドスパニエルという犬種は、日本ではまだあまり知られていませんが、深い歴史と気品、そして家庭犬としても優れた穏やかな性格を持つ、魅力あふれる存在です。私はこの犬種に強く惹かれ、その素晴らしさをより多くの方に知っていただきたいとの思いから、ブリーディングという道を選びました。
「フィリーズボンド」という名には、“フィールドスパニエルと言う犬(フィリー)と人との絆（Bond）を大切にしたい”という想いを込めています。私は家族の一員として心を通わせながら、ともに生きていくパートナーとしてのフィールドスパニエルを育ててまいります。
小さな犬舎ではありますが、健康で性格の良い子犬たちをお届けできるよう、誠実に取り組んでまいります。どうぞ温かく見守っていただけましたら幸いです。
フィールド・スパニエルとはAbout
フィールドスパニエルとは、中型のガンドッグ（猟犬）に分類される犬種で、イギリス原産のスパニエル系統のひとつです。もともとは水辺や草地での鳥猟に活躍する実猟犬として開発され、優れた嗅覚と高い知能、穏やかな性格で知られています。
外見の特徴としては、滑らかでシルキーな長毛、レバー色やブラック、ローン等の被毛、そしてバランスの取れた体型を持ち、優雅さと力強さを兼ね備えています。耳は長く垂れ、表情には温厚で知的な雰囲気が漂います。他のスパニエル種に比べて体高がやや高く、脚が長めで、フィールド（野原）での作業に適した構造となっています。
性格はとても家庭的で、飼い主に対する忠誠心が強く、子どもや他の動物にも友好的です。一方で、感受性が高く繊細な一面もあり、激しい叱責よりも、優しく一貫したしつけが求められます。
現在では希少犬種に分類され、家庭犬やショードッグとしても人気がありますが、本来の作業犬としての本能と能力を今も色濃く残しているため、十分な運動や刺激が必要です。静かな魅力を持ち、深く付き合うほどにその良さが伝わる、知る人ぞ知る名犬です。
海外でも日本でも非常に珍しい犬です。
